University of California at Berkeley – Rankings & Review

Berkeley seal illustrating UC Berkeley rankings profile.

The University of California at Berkeley (called “Cal” or “Berkeley”) is  the original campus of the University of California system. Of course UCLA, UCSD, Santa Barbara, or Davis may disagree as to which UC campus is best. Nevertheless, Berkeley is the oldest of the UC campuses, having been established in 1868. Although the other campuses have certainly gained ground in rankings, traditionally Berkeley has ranked in a number of academic subjects as well.
